Bacteriostatic Water for Injection (BWFI) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The 3 mL vial is ideal for single-peptide reconstitution where a higher per-mL concentration is desired, and it minimizes waste on shorter research cycles.

How to use

Swab the rubber stopper with isopropyl alcohol. Draw the desired volume with a sterile syringe and slowly inject down the inner wall of the peptide vial. Gently swirl — do NOT shake. Use within 28 days of first puncture when stored refrigerated.

Storage

Sealed: room temperature, away from light. After opening: refrigerate at 2–8 °C and discard after 28 days.
