Peptide FAQ — Research Reference

Reference answers to the questions researchers most commonly ask about research peptide quality, handling, and compliance. All answers are scoped to research use; no medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic claims are made.

Quality & verification

Every Peptide Logix lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis showing reverse-phase HPLC purity (≥99% target) and mass-spectrometry confirmation of the correct molecular mass. The lot number on the CoA matches the lot stamped on the vial. See How to Verify Peptide Purity.

Storage & handling

Lyophilized vials store at −20 °C, sealed, dark. Reconstituted solutions store at 2–8 °C in bacteriostatic water, typically up to 4 weeks. Full reference: Peptide Storage Guide.

Shipping

Orders ship cold-chain within the United States with ice packs and tamper-evident packaging. Tracking is provided once shipped. For order status, use the Order Status page with your Order ID and email.

Compliance

All Peptide Logix products are supplied strictly for in-vitro research and analytical reference. They are not pharmaceutical products and are not approved by the FDA for human use, diagnostic use, or therapeutic use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Peptide Logix products research grade?+

Yes. Every lot ships with a current Certificate of Analysis showing ≥99% HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry confirmation of the correct molecular mass, with the lot number matching the vial.

What is a Certificate of Analysis?+

A CoA is the analytical document that ties a specific lot of peptide to its measured purity (by HPLC) and identity (by mass spectrometry). A CoA without a matching lot number is not traceable evidence.

Are peptides legal to purchase for research?+

Research peptides supplied as analytical reference material for in-vitro laboratory study are sold for that purpose only. Purchasers represent that they are qualified researchers handling materials in accordance with institutional and applicable laws. Not for human, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.

How do I track my order?+

Use the Order Status page with your email and the 8-character Order ID from your confirmation email.

What solvent reconstitutes most peptides?+

Bacteriostatic water (sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the standard reconstitution solvent for most research peptides.
