How the math works

Concentration = vial mg ÷ water mL. A 10 mg vial with 3 mL of bacteriostatic water is 3.33 mg/mL, so each insulin unit (0.01 mL) holds 33.3 mcg. Dividing your target dose by that number gives the unit mark.
